THE FIRST SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH:
11:30 - 2:00 pm - Mississippi Go (Wei Ch'i)
Society Games & Instruction (All Ages)
Held at Jumbo Chinese Restaurant, 1913 Spillway Road on the Rankin County side
of the reservoir.
The study of Wei Ch'i, which was highly valued by the Japanese Samurai for it's
emphasis on the development of strategy and tactics, perfectly compliments the
study of Classical Fencing, Historical Swordsmanship and
other martial arts.
For
these reasons the Mississippi Academy of Arms co-hosts this event with
the Mississippi Go Society.

Summer
2007 Location
During
the Summer months we will be taking advantage of the nice weather and meeting
outdoors at a park beside the reservoir instead of in our usual building.
We will be meeting at Lakeshore Park on the Ross Barnet Reservoir under the
covered pavllion near the restrooms and tennis courts.
Take
Spillway Rd. across the spillway. Take a left at the first stop light (Old
Fanin Rd. / North Shore Parkway) McDonald's will be on the right at that
light. You will turn left in Lake Shore Park (not the campground but the
next left). You can find us via the map at this link.
When
you arrive at Lakeshore Park, drive around the one-way loop and look for
us at pavilion #4. If it rains we will still be there nice and dry under
the pavilion.
